North Cornwall coast Path

Carn Naun Point

My hike along a section of the North Cornwall Coast Path between Zennor and St. Ives

Standing stones at Polgassick

Sunset on Porthmeor Beach, St Ives

Sunset on Porthmeor Beach, St. Ives at the end of my hike in from Zennor. I’d started before dawn in London for the train trip to Cornwall - it’s more than five hours for the 331 miles by railway. Then booked in to a B&B and took a bus to Zennor. Walking back to St. Ives with just a day pack, snacking on blackberries from the brambles and enjoying the views of the granite cliffs and the surf on the Atlantic beaches plus a small array of standing stones, not marked on the map but at Polgassick, a little east of Carn Naun Point.
