A photographic survey at one 25 m. grid square: a set of photos made within an hour and within 25 m. of this latitude and longitude point. The same principle as the biologists do for a population survey at a location when they mark out a grid square and count how many animals or plants they see on each survey count.
The spot I chose is on Sawyers Hill, Richmond Park, SW London. I was amazed how much I saw in about an hour at this one place. Animals, people doing various things, flowers and trees, macro and abstract views, landscapes and skyscapes plus even the view to St Pauls Cathedral along the protected view line from King Harry’s Mound, traditionally the spot thought to be where King Henry VIII stood on 19 May 1536 to watch a rocket fired from the Tower of London to signal that his wife Anne Boleyn had been executed for treason. And my set concludes with, of course a selfie, taken with my second camera.
